Impressionists in a B-Skool

Welcome back!

At the beginning of REC Warangal life way back in 1998(ayyo!!!!, I am getting older), just the day after every “state’s” fresher’s party, the only thing happening for the full first semester was guys moving to the Ladies Hostel(LH) , calling up girls and taking/giving intros.

Can easily be termed as a refelction of the energy in guys just out of school(read Pre Univ college, if this is not the case), trying to find a partner(friend???) for a period ranging from a couple of months in college to , well….. the whole life…. and thankfully most girls were not enagaged, and not the “I have a boyfriend back home” types…..


The equation expected in a B School is totally different, the average age of the crowd when compared to a Grad College is atleast 3 years more, so the level of maturity had obviously to be a bit higher. My expectations are shattered….. the crowd is very similar REC days…. Intros are still the in thing…

Guys are trying to be “Impressionists”-thats creating an impression, rite…. Even though the “I have a boy friend” or rather ” I have a fiancee” junta forms a small part of the fairer sex pie…. Impressionists are all around, trying to get a bite of the better part of the pie…..
