Khadakwasala stay for 3 days

Welcome back!

This is on real fun that we had during the 3 days at Shantivan Resort, near Khadakvasala….

The whole batch was divided into 2 and by the time we(B and C divns) reached the venue the earlier batch had alomost started their return trip.

The outbound trip was simply awesome and an amazing experience , thanks to an organisation called Out Fit. This org is run by some of the Rtd defence Personnels in Pune. The basic idea of the whole camp was to help us know each other better.

It had been only about 10 days since we came to SIBM and everyone hardly knew each other. As usual cliques were being formed….

We had games from those meant for knowing each others’ names, to adventure stuff like burma bridge…
Carrying people piggy back and sending them thru ropes(they called the game cobweb) was a tuff job for most of the junta, thanks to lotsa horizontally inclined public!!!
Teamwork,motivation, self confidence etc (the usual HR stuff) were the qualities that they were successful in building among us…

Impeccable planning from Out Fit’s side was behind the whole effort…

End result: Aching Hands and body, dozed off in class today…(guest lecture by a Stanchart guy)
Soaked, dirtied in the slush and rain…(rolled like a pig on the ground, mostly fell down while playing the so called management games )
Camaraderie built in the grp…
Me acted in a skit(a small role)-first time ever in life -an acting adventure….
A revelation that homosexuality and unnatural sex(animals!!!) sells better that the normal one when it comes to making people laugh(the camp fire skits were enf for ne one to get this point right)

Gotta a presentation tomorrow on the Industrial Visit, forgot what I saw in the industry(Forbes Marshall)…
