Which specialization to choose from

Welcome back!

Just the beginning of a confusion, it was the turn of faculty members from various disciplines trying to entice us ….all were trying to Market themselves, …. so marketing is the most important, rite… think I should take it…. lotsa time to decide…

This I think should be the time you spedn doing some soul searching.

Remember, your B-School degree is not going to help you much with your first job – though it will steer your future career. And your initial performance will decide how far will advance in your career. And you will perform best not in the area thats hottest in the market, nor in the area marketed best to you – but in that area which can bring out the passion in you.

Search for that and you will have a great career. Good luck!

P.S. Don’t get into too detail for now either – as in say ecommerce marketing or consumer behaviour and what not! Stay high level – very high level. Hope this helps.
