The sadness of e-bereavement

Secrets are things that I hate. Suspense is another thing in line….I keep things open(I dunno what pun is)
Never did I login in the IT lab as mba28245 and use my 50GB of space… (The news of storage prices falling is spreading… for sure)
I believed(and will continue to) that information should be free, accessible to all…..
Read on the sad story….
There exists a common directory -Print on Win2k server. I had saved all my downloads , ranging from ppts “lifted” various sites, to all software downloads, to how to tackle SPSS notes, to images from history(Rajiv, Sanjay, Maruti and so many….), ads, videos, snaps ……
Alas,…. I come here at 3pm ,and I see no MOONSTRUCK(that was my folder )… I was feeling raped… lost…was about to breakdown, all my efforts of 2 months in SIBM is down the drain….
E-bereaved I am…. I know what e-security is now…..

lesson learnt – never save your stuff on print….u never know when it will disappear!!! we all have learnt it the hard way….and i see so have u
this is why u have been assigned an mba28*** folder….save all ur stuff there in future

can find a better place in there… dont worry…

might be that there’s periodic/automated deletion of print a/c.chek wid comp lab people.may have back ups

Its really sad to know about the saved intellectual loss…but the best thinhg of any loss is the lesson u learnt…Of course, u should save in ur personal folder….but always remember this golden rule that Nobody can delete the knowledge in ur mind…so cheer up & be careful next time.

HA…we once had our folder blocked cos it was called “playboy stuff”…this folder was the collective effort of around 15 of us, with all sorts of info amassed…it happens! try the win2k/presentations folder next time, if it still exists…
