Hartal is the vein of kerala through which the ‘killer blood’ (liquor of all sorts) runs through the keralites’ bodies. Hartal is the most celebrated event after Onam and Christmas in kerala.

Would be interesting to know why the other Kerala folks, those not actively involved in the hartal but affected by it, do not take out a hartal to protest the frequent hartals
